Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RecipeNestle ("we", "us", "our"), available at new.recipenestle.com, collects, uses and protects information when you visit the site. By using RecipeNestle, you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you subscribe to our newsletter, send a message through the contact form, or leave a rating or comment, we collect what you submit: typically your name, email address and message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our partners automatically collect certain data when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring website and approximate location based on your IP address. When you rate a recipe, we store a one-way encrypted (hashed) version of your IP address only to prevent duplicate ratings; we cannot read your IP address from it.
How we use information
- To run, maintain and improve the website and its recipes.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To reply to your messages and questions.
- To understand how visitors use the site, through analytics.
- To show advertising that keeps RecipeNestle free to read.
- To protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use cookies to keep the site working, to remember your preferences, to measure traffic, and to serve advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly without them.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use RecipeNestle. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited and time on site using cookies. You can prevent this with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Social media and embedded content
Recipes may include share buttons for Pinterest, Facebook and other networks. If you use them, those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
How long we keep information
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Ratings and comments stay with the recipe unless you ask us to remove them.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help run the site (hosting, email, analytics and advertising), or when required by law.
Your rights (GDPR – EU/UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Where required, we ask for your consent before using cookies for personalized advertising.
Your rights (CCPA – California residents)
California residents may request to know what personal information we collect, ask for it to be deleted, and opt out of its "sale" or "sharing". We do not sell personal information for money.
Children's privacy
RecipeNestle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
